Nordic Consulting, a global health and technology consulting company, announced today that it has brought on seasoned international human resources (HR) executive Shae Crawford as senior vice president and head of HR. In this role, Crawford will establish and lead global HR efforts to support Nordic’s growing employee base around the world.
With a wealth of diverse experiences across multiple industries and across all seven continents, Crawford’s philosophy of leading from the front was shaped by her eight years serving in the U.S. Army, where she began her HR career. In her most recent position as chief human resources officer at Berkeley Research Group (BRG), a professional services consulting company with a significant healthcare portfolio, Crawford oversaw and supported its HR function across the globe, including recruiting efforts, multiple group hirings, and transitioning employees as a result of the organization’s first acquisition. In addition, Crawford is personally deeply passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), successfully leading these efforts at BRG where she co-founded and implemented its LegUp program, offering training and mentorship opportunities for underrepresented youth.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Nordic family. Between its global reach and its commitment to its mission, people, and maxims, there is so much exciting work to be done,” said Crawford. “I’m looking forward to being a thoughtful and strategic partner to all those working across Nordic and its global companies.”
“We’re so delighted to welcome Shae to Nordic at this exciting time in our company,” said CEO Jim Costanzo. “She brings an incredible depth of knowledge and resolve that will bring tremendous value to all our global teammates as Nordic continues its growth.”
