Your role

A Nordic Managed Services associate supports a variety of Epic clients across the nation. You'll have the opportunity to expand your skills in the fast-paced field of healthcare IT. We're looking for a strong communicator who can keep in close contact with clients while you're working remotely. If this sounds like you, here are a couple things you’ll need:

  • Must be certified in relevant EHR application module(s) within 4 months of starting

Full Job Description

Associate - Managed Services

The Associate – Epic Application Management works towards certification in an EHR application and assists team members in providing EHR design, build, testing, and troubleshooting services for Nordic Clients.

Key Responsibilities

The Associate - Managed Services responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Learning, preparing, and studying for appropriate EHR Certification 

  • Participating in system testing 

  • Taking customer calls about issues, resolving the issue during the call, or adequately documenting and transitioning the issue 

  • Accurately, completing up-to-date documentation in relevant ticketing system(s), regarding requests processed and incidents solved 

  • Assisting in the improvement of workflows and processes 

  • Following proper change control policies for application builds and configurations 

  • Providing updates to analysts and consultants as needed 

  • Attending and participating in team meetings 

  • Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested 

Skills and Experience

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience, required  

  • Ability to apply problem solving skills 

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications 

  • Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims 

  • Must be certified in relevant EHR application module(s) within 4 months of starting 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize 

  • Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team environment
