Secure connectivity

Hospitals grant Nordic access to their EHR data via a web services interface based on Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and other reporting technologies. This interface allows the secure exchange of data with Registry Direct using HTTPS, a common and secure web standard. Most organizations have FHIR technology installed and running for Meaningful Use/Promoting Interoperability compliance, so adding Registry Direct using this technology takes just a few IT hours.

Once access is established, Nordic’s solution queries your EHR for data and builds a compatible extract.
