Arden Varney, CPA

VP, Financial Consulting Services

Arden joined Nordic in 2021 as director, ERP Services from Bails & Associates, which is now part of Nordic.

Arden works closely with each member of the ERP Services team to deliver expert ERP solutions that reduce risk, increase value, and lower costs for clients across a variety of industries.

A Certified Public Account, he is responsible for ERP service delivery, where he oversees finance, supply chain and technical teams.

During his career, Arden worked on more than 100 implementation projects, crossing industries as diverse as healthcare, retail, technology, and services, and leveraging lessons learned to improve business operations and enable growth. He also worked with Infor on the CloudSuite Financial products, including testing the beta version and training other partners on the product.

He started his career with Coopers & Lybrand in audit before earning his CPA license. Later, as a controller at a 280-location restaurant chain, he implemented Lawson Financials and HR/Payroll. He then joined Lawson Software in its consulting services group.

Arden has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bentley University. He lives in Amelia Island, Florida, with his wife of 25 years Janine and is “begrudgingly” a Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

Brett Weiss

VP, Client Services

Brett joined Nordic in 2022 as vice president, ERP Services from Bails & Associates, which is now part of Nordic.

As vice president, Brett helps lead the ERP Services team in their promise to deliver expert ERP solutions for clients across multiple industries.

He is responsible for ERP client services, leading Infor ERP sales, marketing, partnerships, and client satisfaction. He also drives strategic planning to help position Nordic as the industry leader in EHR and ERP consulting services, assisting clients with complex integrations.

Brett is a healthcare information technology professional and business leader with more than 25 years of experience in the ERP space. He specializes in guiding healthcare providers through business and process transformation using modern enterprise software. A frequent industry speaker, he offers a dynamic understanding of healthcare IT, trends, and technologies available to address the challenges of a volatile market.

He began his career in supply chain management logistics and procurement for a medical device manufacturer. He was later recruited into sales, where he leveraged his services experience and deep industry knowledge to demonstrate the benefits of ERP to existing and prospective customers.

Brett earned his Bachelor of Arts in international business from the University of Arizona. He enjoys great food, great company, great conversation, and all things outdoors, including playing sports with his family. He lives in Madison, Connecticut, with his wife, two daughters, and two pups Sam and Rebel.

Kellie Gilbert, PMP

Director, Service Delivery

Kellie joined Nordic in 2021 as director, ERP Services from Bails & Associates, which is now part of Nordic.

An integral part of the ERP Services team, Kellie helps deliver on Nordic’s promise to provide expert ERP solutions for clients across a variety of industries.

Kellie is responsible for ERP service delivery, managing projects and helping lead the human capital management team and managed services offering.

She has more than 21 years of consulting experience, excels at anticipating clients’ needs, and provides positive and constructive solutions to make an implementation a success. Her background in payroll, human resources, and IT spans many industries, including pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, government, food services, printing, entertainment, and news. Her wealth of knowledge of the Infor products combined with her project management experience makes her uniquely qualified to train, guide, and support clients and consultants.

Kellie is also fully certified on Infor’s v11 Human Capital Management Suite, has expertise in on-premise and cloud suite implementations, and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, a gold standard designation issued by the internationally recognized Project Management Institute.

In her free time, Kellie stays busy with her husband, teenagers, puppies, and running a household in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Lori Waters

VP, Service Delivery

Lori joined Nordic in 2021 as vice president, ERP Services from Bails & Associates, which is now part of Nordic.

Responsible for ERP service delivery, she works closely with the ERP Services team to deliver expert on-premise or cloud-based ERP solutions for clients across multiple industries. This includes development planning, appropriate staffing, and enablement. Lori also partners with account executives and the project management team to scope, plan, kick off, and implement successful projects and guide clients through intricate upgrades.

Lori has more than 20 years of professional services industry experience in the Infor ERP/cloud space with a broad knowledge of consulting services that includes human capital management consulting, business development, operations, talent management, capacity planning, and strategic planning. She is a collaborative and creative leader focused on aligning with C-level executives as a trusted advisor and strategist on the most effective and cost-efficient ways to support organizational objectives.

She began her career as a financial services consultant at PNC Bank and was later promoted to PNC’s Small Business Enterprise team. She held a management role overseeing a team of employees who processed all online loan applications, including one of PNC’s largest portfolio clients.

Lori has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with an emphasis in Public Relations and a Minor in English. She piloted a study-abroad program between Slippery Rock University and Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh, Scotland. She enjoys vacationing with her husband and three daughters on Sanibel Island. She also enjoys traveling to experience different cultures, food and music. She is a member of the SNPJ, a fraternal organization of Slovene Americans.

Mark Borsheim, CPA

SVP, ERP Services - U.S. and Global Leader

Mark joined Nordic in 2021 as vice president, ERP Services, and moved into the role of practice leader in June 2024.

As head of ERP Services, Mark leads Nordic's ERP Services team, helping them deliver on-premise or cloud-based ERP solutions that reduce risk, increase value, and lower costs for clients across multiple industries.

He is responsible for ERP consulting services, where he directs the Infor ERP consulting and manages service practices, drives strategic planning and initiatives, and works across the organization to position Nordic at the forefront of providing prescriptive implementation and upgrade solutions to a wide variety of clients in a host of industries. He has overseen and been recognized for leading numerous successful ERP implementation projects, both as a customer and member of Bails/Nordic, through 20 years of work across the retail, logistics and healthcare industries.

A Certified Public Accountant, Mark has more than 20 years of providing value to businesses across multiple industries and possesses exceptional verbal and written communication skills. He excels at training, both in-person and virtually to a wide variety of audiences. Mark’s experience includes top-down/bottom-up budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling and acquisitions, ERP implementation management (Infor/Lawson planning and GL), inventory valuation/reconciliation, Infor and Lawson financial suite, month- and year-end close management, long-range strategic plan development, service line revenue analysis, and gross margin planning and analysis.

He started his career as a tax accountant with a small firm in Florida before moving to a private industry, where he enjoyed steady advancement and served in several high-profile management positions over accounting, financial analysis, acquisitions, and system development across both the retail and logistics industries.

Mark grew up in Minnesota and earned a degree in accounting from the University of South Florida in Tampa. He lives in Florida, where he takes great pride in winning at board games, kayaking, and spending time with friends and family. He loves dogs, sports teams that are always just one player away, culinary exploration, and traveling with his wife.

Melissa Cox

Senior Director, Service Delivery

Melissa joined Nordic in 2023 as senior director, ERP Services from Bails & Associates, which is now part of Nordic.

Responsible for leading project quality, productivity, and success for Nordic’s ERP projects, Melissa works closely with the ERP Services team to deliver expert ERP solutions for clients across multiple industries.

Melissa also works with project management leadership to develop and implement project standards, recommend methods of project improvement, and monitor implementation on those methods. She also works with project teams to problem solve and identify training and mentoring opportunities to support ERP project teams.

An experienced digital transformation leader, business integrator, and certified project and change manager with more than 20 years of experience, she is passionate about improving the implementation experience for customers and project teams. Melissa has led successful projects and teams in the healthcare, non-profit, and international development sectors in the U.S. and abroad. She has implemented and supported Infor’s finance, supply chain, and human capital management applications.

Melissa lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and four children and considers herself a long-distance runner now that she’s conquered two full marathons and many half marathons. She loves photography and hopes to take pictures of beautiful people and places all over the world someday.

Susan Harrison

Senior Director, Service Delivery

Susan Harrison is a Senior Director, Service Delivery for ERP services. She has many years of healthcare IT experience implementing and supporting ERP Applications. Most recently, Susan has led the Workday ERP implementation for a large health system. Susan lives in Morgantown, West Virginia, with her family and enjoys spending time in nature - hiking trails, visiting the beach, and discovering waterfalls. She also enjoys watching college football, MMA, and her favorite television series, Law & Order.

Mike Smith

Director, Service Delivery

Michael joined Nordic in 2024 as a practice director of service delivery for ERP Services.

Responsible for ERP technology delivery, he works closely with the ERP Services team to deliver quality and innovative solutions for clients. His team is accountable for the technical delivery of all three suites: Human Capital Management, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Michael has over 28 years of experience in professional services delivery across multiple industries and a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University in Indiana.

He resides in the Dallas, TX, area and enjoys spending time with friends, watching sports, and taking beach vacations with his wife, Melissa.

Doug Kittrell

Director, Client Services

Doug joined Nordic in 2023 as director of ERP Services.

In his role, Doug manages the North American solution executive team for the Infor practice. He and his team help clients on their journey to implement, optimize, and support Infor Lawson and Infor CloudSuite finance, supply chain, and human capital management applications.

A customer-centered and metric-driven senior leader, Doug’s more than 30-year career has been focused on enhancing health organizations’ cloud-based ERP applications experience through continuous strategic and tactical improvement. He is a transparent information broker, fostering collaboration, trust, innovation, and a culture of long-term success.

Before Nordic, Doug held a variety of roles as vice president, director of account management, and as an application solutions consultant at a variety of cloud providers and Infor-focused implementation firms. Before those roles, he spent time working as a business consultant at Accenture.

Doug lives on a small farm in Loudoun County, Virginia, where he and his wife operate a successful alpaca and llama farm focused on livestock sales, fiber to fashion, and agritourism. When needing to clear his head, he can also be found riding his motorcycle, playing drums, or streaming the Philadelphia Phillies.

Bob Pogyor

Director, Client Services

Bob joined Nordic in 2023 as a solution executive in the Workday ERP practice in which he represents the business development side of the practice. Bob is responsible for working with Workday and Nordic delivery services in identifying opportunities to deliver world class advisory, implementation, and support services to our clients. 

Bob has over 25 years of experience selling enterprise software and services to customers across multiple industries, including 15 years of experience selling into the healthcare provider market.

Bob earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lafayette College and his MBA from Penn State. In his free time, Bob enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and rooting for the Phillies and Eagles.

He lives in Yardley, Pennsylvania, with his wife. They have two adult sons, a daughter in college, and a rescue dog named Roscoe.
